IN PERSON SALES @ EVENTS ONLY. From the late ripening Noetzli family vineyard in Maraekakaho, Hawke’s Bay, where Three Fates have been working since 2020. Arneis is a tricky variety in the vineyard which means we can only take a tiny crop of gigantic flavour-packed berries. Always the first to ripen, this was picked three weeks ahead of the remainder of the vineyard.

Handpicked and whole-bunch pressed, filling just two old barriques for a natural fermentation. To temper the rawness of the natural acidity, the wine went through malolactic fermentation, imparting a softness and balance to the palate.

A charmingly pretty wine, the ever unsuspecting Arneis hits you with the complexity. At first approach you’re met with fragrant pear, lemon, and lime but returning to the glass will unveil the intensely floral flavours of Turkish Delight and a subtle hint of fennel seed. Well-balanced acidity keeps the palate lively and readies this to be a great food pairing wine.
