This site produces small, concentrated bunches of Albariño with plenty of intensity.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMachine harvested then foot-stomped in-vineyard to ensure maximum slushiness \u0026amp; skin contact for the hour-long drive to the winery. A small portion (5%) was held back for a two week skin ferment, while the rest was pressed on the day of harvest, cold settled, and racked to seasoned oak for natural fermentation. The skin-fermented portion was later used to top the barrels. The wine spent 11 months on lees, with stirring kept to a minimum.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs always with Three Fates Albariño, bright and tangy acidity is the star here. A heady nose of barley sugar, sweet navel orange, and nectarine is bound to delight.
