2023 Rosé - $33 Bottle

The majority of this fruit salad rosé is organically-grown Syrah from the red metal TK Vineyard on the Bridge Pa Triangle, Hawke’s Bay. In our preferred method for making rosé, this was picked at “red wine ripeness” to ensure a depth of flavour. Whole bunch pressed, wild ferment in stainless & barrique, the resultant wine was exceptionally pretty. Preferring more complexity, we added portions from our Cabernet Franc and Albariño cuvées for a showstopping blend.

The result is unabashedly fruity and exceptionally aromatic. Evoking strawberry lollies, Christmastime cherries, and cinnamon-spiked shortbread. The palate is dry with a light tannic grip that lends a seriousness to the aromatic candy-shop. Savour it or smash it, the decision is yours.
