As has become tradition with Three Fates Rosé, this is a blend of two varieties and two vineyards. Roughly 50% Bridge Pa Syrah from the Apex Vineyard and the remaining 50% Merlot from the nearby TK Vineyard. Both were picked on the riper side to capture the full-throttle watermelon and raspberry flavours we so love.
Fermented naturally in a combination of stainless tank and seasoned barriques, this silky wine might just be our prettiest rosé yet. The perfect shade of blush pink, it is an elegant ensemble of blackcurrant, blueberry, and cherry, with a dollop of cream on top and a sprinkle of spice.
Here is what the inimitable Master of Wine Stephen Wong had to say about it:
Concentrated, spicy blackcurrant and blueberry fruit with a hint of cream flow across the dry and intense palate. Densely fruity, compact and long, this really coats the palate in a way which is rare for rosé. Slight grip with spicy tannins adding interest. Fantastic flavour concentration, it is very drinkable already but has the depth to develop more spice and savouriness in the mid-term. 92 Points!
